Site Help: Shopping Cart and Payment Process

After clicking the "Add to Shopping Cart" button on the detailed product information page you will arrive at the shopping cart where you can make amends, continue shopping or finalise your order.

Using your Shopping Cart The illustration below shows the shopping cart information page for a shopping cart containing 1 item. As well as offering you the chance to continue shopping and giving brief explanations of the security measures that we have in place, the shopping cart page allows you to change quantities of the products currently contained in your shopping cart along with prices, sub-totals and delivery costings. Once you are happy with your shopping cart contents and have selected your delivery country, you will find that your order total has been calculated to include all of these costs and you are now ready to proceed to the checkout - this is achieved simply by clicking the "Checkout" button below your order total.



The Checkout - Step 1 Once you enter the Checkout you are no longer on our standard web server, you are using our Secure Transaction Server which guarantees that all information you enter at this stage is fully encrypted. You can verify this security at any time by clicking on the Verisign logo shown throughout the checkout. The first step in the Checkout process is to give us your billing details. If you are a member you can simply login using your membership details and proceed straight to step 2 (see below). If you are not a member then you will need to fill out a simple form - at which point you can register to become a member if you wish - before you can proceed to step 2.

The Checkout - Step 2 Step 2 of the checkout process is another simple form asking you for your delivery address. Once you have entered the address that you would like your order delivered to you are ready for Step 3.

The Checkout - Step 3 Upon arriving at step 3 you should take a final moment to review your billing details, your delivery details and your shopping cart contents as errors at this stage could delay or invalidate your order. Once you are satisfied that all the information is correct, take care to fill out your credit card information precisely as it appears on your card before clicking the "Place Your Order" button.



What Happens Next? Once the "Place Your Order" button is pressed our Secure Server will pass your details on to Protx our secure online payment processor. Protx will check your credit card information with your bank and attempt to authorise the release of funds. If this is successful then your order information will be stored and a confirmation will be displayed on screen and sent to you by e-mail

We do not store your card information. Once the transaction has been completed, all card information you have submitted is deleted and not stored by DJH Engineering Ltd.

If for any reason the transaction fails to authorise, you will be returned to the card details form and an error message will show explaining why an error occurred. Please re-enter your card details, taking care to correct the error, and try again.
